Biography

"Perhaps you're wondering what I, a Nature dragon, should be doing running about in a den full of Plagues? Well, you see, I'm a bit of an outcast, though I venture you could have deduced that yourself. I am named for the graces of Fallen Angels, and I bear that name very well. I was once a revered Nature Dragon whose renown was so grand that all knew of my grandeur and splendor. My wings bore the sigils to summon any creature or death spell that I should think of. I was, after all, living magic. I could wage heartless storms against all who sought to stand against me; yet, I was brought down from my mighty throne when I first laid eyes upon my forbidden--her.

She was named for the sister of Scathach, the legend who lacked a Shadow. She was everything that her sister wished to be and more, a veritable legend; none knew her quite as well. I resolved to do so. But, of course, she was a Plague Dragon. My father, rest his soul, was far from pleased at the notion of my association with a Plague. But, her father spoke of acceptance and diversity and even welcomed our match. It was this kindness that then led me to do the unthinkable--I gave up my crown. I was due to inherit a large clan of great report, but given my father's disapproval of whom I should take as a mate, I rescinded his offer of inheritance in order to take my mate's fine hand in eternal partnership.

Though I could never adhere to the strange practices of the Plagues, I am welcomed with my more peaceful sort and disposition, as it is actually quite compatible with that of my companion. It seems that she is a much more diluted form than that of her parents. She inherited none of their destructive skills. It so seems that she is actually more of a creator than that of a destroyer. And, to my surprise, her parents welcome those skills and find her to be of equal importance as with her siblings. It was also this kind acceptance of one so different in interests and passions from among their own offspring that led me to finally accept my place in Bellum and Armageddon's clan. I have been quite happy ever since.

I busy myself with trivial equations to build a greater and better lair than what we have now. Despite the Plaguebringer's unhappiness with my origins, it is I that negotiates deals to expand our lair whenever my Leaders see fit. The Plaguebringer saw pity with me when she heard of my plight in order to be with one of her kind; She is rather giving, despite our apparent waywardness from the religious practices to be afforded Her. Some could say that She admires it. And She positively dotes upon my mate, who is, as I say, destructive in the fact that she surely brought my world to a sound end; only to replace it in her kindly, creative ways that can only be compared with that of the most reputable goddesses. It is fitting that one such as the Plaguebringer should find worthiness in Aoife's soul. She is, quite simply, a marvel and a dear that I have been blessed to have been acquainted with, no less partnered with."

Malakhim is a quiet, yet well-mannered and well-spoken dragon whose origins can be placed in the realm of Nature. He rejected his right to a powerful throne and clan in order to be with his beloved Aoife, with whom he negotiates future land settlements with the Plaguebringer, given his keen ability to settle matters of the sort with an eloquent tongue to rival the royalties of old.

His wings bear sacred sigils that can summon terrors and create and preserve the most beautiful of all things. Due to this, his reputation as a Nature dragon was sorely destroyed upon choosing to be with a Plague Dragon. This did not hinder him at all; he is still quite a force to be reckoned with as, quite as he explained, he is Magic personified given that it is quite clearly displayed to be the basis of his existence and abilities. This is one of the many reasons that he is able to interact so successfully with all the the associates--especially the Plaguebringer. She finds this to be the most interesting piece of information in regards to her regular visitor; it is often what eventually convinces her to lend more land to Malakhim's clan, along with his wonderful discussions of things paranormal and otherwise.

Aside from his apparent taken nature with his mate, he entertains himself with drawing up mathematical equations to associate with his future discussions with the Plaguebringer. No one knows how these formulae may be applied but he. Aoife can sometimes decipher what he says, but his reasoning is known to him alone.

He is surely devoted to Bellum and Armageddon due to their apparent willingness to accept him as, quite genuinely, their son despite his origin. He is especially grateful toward their openness with his relationship with Aoife. They eagerly await to see more offspring from the two least destructive members of their plan, for they are, after all, the most invaluable members for the sake of their innate ability to secure friendly partnerships with whom they need as well as speak to the true, wonderful openness of their clan.

Malakhim is, assuredly, the greatest example of what it means for all to belong in his quite peculiar, destructive, yet wonderful clan.
