A scholar that works part-time at the college as an educator, Saturnalia is a skilled mage of the Shadow element. When he isn't honing his magecraft, he spends his time studying the stars, sciences, alchemy and other magic arts.

Saturnalia is very refined and a bit snobbish. He's temperate enough, and a decent conversationalist. His true passion is with learning; he can wax on about it for hours to whomever may listen, cementing his position as an educator. He does work best alone, however, as he's quick to criticize colleagues that prefer methods outside his own.

How he'll respond truly depends on his mood; he seems to be crotchety on bright, sunny days, or after dealing with a stressful situation. He can be a little judgemental and is certainly more of an introvert. But to dragons who are genuine and well-mannered, he'll open up to much easier, and is even kinder to more timid dragons.

He enjoys peaceful, quiet days, studying and learning from all manner of books and scrolls. Enlightening and mature conversations are what he seeks most, and what he receives the least. As he is quite irritable, many dragons find it fun badgering him from time to time, mostly with rhetorical questions, and if his name relates to the Water element's holiday (it does not). The worst offender in his eyes, being his own roommate.

Euphoria is a dragon he claims to detest. Despite his ire, they do seem to get along, and even live together. No one can really tell if the two are friends, enemies, or even lovers. Asking either one of them doesn't make anything more clear, and Saturnalia will scold anyone who asks such a thing. After all, isn't it obvious? (It really isn't.) This does seem to be the only thing he's truly vague about, so it makes one wonder...
