Camir

As you enter the huge pearly gates of Sanctuary, you're greeted by what you think is a large yellow bush, but turns out to be a blind Coatl. "Welcome to Sanctuary! My name is Camir, let me know if I can help you find anything, anything at all!" His smile is braod beneath his veil, and the lanterns at his side bob happily in the wind. You let him know you're just here to see the sights, and thank him for his welcome. His smile doesn't dim, and he waves as you walk away, before turning to greet the next dragon to enter the gates.



Camir was born in an average light clan, where he planned to live out his life as a merchant for his family's business. He was mated to a lovely coatl and they had several hatchlings before disaster struck. His clan was devastated by fires, which killed his hatchlings. This loss created an impassible rift between Camir and his mate, and eventually Camir was driven from the decimated clan to escape the memories and grief.

Camir drifted around various light clans for a while, never quite happy or healed of his grief and losses. Finding Sanctuary was a complete accident, Camir was planning on travelling into the Tangled Wood, as he believed he needed to leave the Sunbeam ruins to find happiness again. He stumbled across Sanctuary, a small port town at the time, and was drawn in by humble but zealous residents. He found fulfillment working with Savitus in the orphanage, and eventually found himself taking on more and more responsibility with homing and settling the drifting dragons that were joining Sanctuary's rankings. He received the title of Light Ambassador for his continued efforts, but is mainly found helping with the Hatchery and Orphanage more so than presiding over the courts.
