Biography

8SJmgmU.png
Spores of many sorts travel from land to land in search of a place to grow on the Wind. However...it seems that the incident that changed Baldwin and created Bogsneaks also changed the spores riding on the currents above. Which, like most things carried by the Wind...wound up brought along with it to the Windsinger’s turf. Innocent dragons unknowingly playing on the windcurrents have found themselves the new homes of these spores. More worrying still;
These foreign contaminants appear to be changing them.
We of the Puff Clan have been studying these spores. Taking in contaminated dragons with the hope of bettering their states. Surprisingly, however, this change into a more...FUNGAL subspecies of dragon does not seem to cause any harm to the dragon themselves, however, some side-effects are quite shocking.

From strange scents to a newfound love of literature, these dragons have been separated into very distinct variations named after the type of fungus they resemble. By purchasing one of these dragons, you are, in effect, joining us in our studies of these foreign contaminants and the effects they seem to have. Each dragon may react to it differently...and some may not remain unharmed by the spores within it. Likewise...others may remain unharmed, and live even fuller, happier lives than before they were contaminated.

One can only theorize until the truth becomes evident.

Hailing from lands of ice and snow, the spores that created this variant came to windlands on the chilly northern winds. While most of this variant show the typical lighter body that this subspecies tends towards, all are more brown in body then white, and some are, infact, quite dark. Some secrete ink-like sap that endlessly drips like the Inky Cap variant, and this liquid trails behind them, staining a path through the snow as they tred through the freezing lands. This enables their clans to locate them in even the harshest of blizzards. Meanwhile, those who's sap hardens into blue ambers serve another purpose...as the sun shining on these gems reflects blue patterns onto the snow, mirroring the northern lights.
All of this variant possesses formerly white wings that, like the snow, has been stained by their own sap.

Much like the Bioluminescent variant can see dreams, this variant appears to have the ability to see spirits and souls. By going into a trance, they can speak for the dead, and communicate their wishes to the living. These dragons also acquire a love for the past...their new-found love causing them to become avid collectors of ancient relics, totems, books, and most importantly; knowledge. These dragons wish to protect and preserve the remnants of cultures, people, and civilizations, that even time itself has forgotten. They hold a deep and dear belief that one must learn from the past in order to create a better future.
