______ Ivoryfang's oldest child, Septembris remained in her birth clan following her mother's exile. Unfortunately, the other dragons ostracized her for being the child of a pariah. She was treated more like an object than another dragon. No experienced mage wanted to train her, and her lack of skill made her an easy target on the battlefield. Word of her demise took years to reach Ivoryfang's ears, and her mother's despair was as deep as the Leviathan Trench. However, Septembris's spirit remained on Sornieth, driven only by rage and hatred. Incorporeal, she lingered on the plains where she was slain, her presence felt only as steadily creeping unease in the air.

______ One day, a small Ridgeback wandered onto area, covered in blood. There were much-too-small shackles around her arms and legs, growing into her flesh. Whip scars laced her back, and deep purposeful gashes gouged into her wings. A half-broken collar hung from her thin neck, the writing on it scratched out desperately by clipped claws. Too exhausted to continue, she collapsed on the ground with teary eyes. Her blood mingled with the soil that once held Septembris's own, summoning the vengeful spirit.

______ "Your soul cries out for justice... For vengeance... Are you prepared to do whatever it takes?" the apparition's voice hissed, sounding exactly like her own. The Ridgeback's expression steeled. "Yes."

______ Septembris merged herself with the child, taking possession of her body. The magical energy she'd built up spilled into the tiny frame. Despite its frailness from years of abuse, it walked with the stride of a predator.

______ "Rest now, child. For I shall retrieve what has been stolen from you."


______ Now equipped with a physical form, Septembris went on a murderous rampage against the ones who wronged them. Her attacks were calculated, cruel, merciless. Those who came upon the aftermath said that it was as if the deities themselves came and passed down holy retribution against whoever lived here before. But when it was all said and done, she didn't know what to do. Neither of them ever saw a future past their vengeance. As they wandered the now deserted lair of Warlord O'kyr, Septembris's grandfather, an orange-winged Ridgeback landed in the central promenade. A Ridgeback that looked awfully like Septembris's mother. Their initial meeting was tense, but the old blood mage eventually accepted the strange double-souled dragon as her (apparently reborn) daughter. The elder Ridgeback offered them a place in Clan Valtinne, to shed away their grudges and start anew.

______ Septembris prefers to stay isolated from the others, sitting in her lair overlooking the ocean. Many dragons in the clan think her strange, not knowing about her "condition." She's often spotted talking to herself while looking at nothing in particular.
