"Hows about you an' I make a bet, yeah, or maybe a game of cards? Promise I'll go easy on ya."
No one's really sure what this Skydancer's true origins are, but if you ask him yourself, he comes up with a rousing tale that seems to change each time you ask. Some days he says he's a mercenary's son, others an orphan who was taken in by the Arcanist as if Exalted. However, the truth only his mate Siel knows is that Decrux grew up in the back allies of a twisted Arcane clan, after having been separated from his mother at a young age. There, learning the ways to con and weasel his way through gambling and card games from a battle hardened Imperial. Mixing his Arcane magic and skills with cards, Decrux conned dragons out of gold and belongings before being ran out of the only home he knew.

Traveling across Sornieth, the young Skydancer swept the young Coatl seamstress, Siel, off her feet with his charm and bad boy attitude, the two eloping together before reaching solitude in the Kronyx Highlanders land, now using the tricks of his trade to help boost his mate's business as he travels alongside the clan merchants to sell her clothes.
