Andromeda

“For I simply wish to travel far, to rest my feet among the stars.”

She was born of the ground, of dust and smoke; she was raised within stone halls, breathing in the air she shared with many other luminescent plants and creatures; and she longs for the stars, the glimmering night skies dotted with hundreds and thousands of faraway suns. Andromeda is a dragon, and yet, some say her very essence has become so in-tune with the stars and galaxies that she is stardust incarnate, a dancer of the skies, the keeper of stars.

Andromeda holds no love for the daytime, when the glaring sun, the planet’s selfishly prominent star, blocks out the breathtaking view of its countless brethren. Only come evening after the sun sets does she venture out of her lair, taking the time to simply stargaze, sometimes alone, sometimes with her Umbra Wolf, sometimes with another member of the clan to keep her company. At times, the stars seem to speak to her, or so she says as the clan’s oracle – after years of reading the constellations, she Knows, and her cryptic foretelling of the future she reads from the stars rings true more often than not. Her clanmates have learned to take her prophecies seriously, as few and far between as they come; for Andromeda is not much of a talker, instead preferring to indulge in her favorite pastimes in companionable silence.
