Most dragons in this world have a past and an origin to speak of; that which is to be spoken with either fondness or hatred.

But this was not the case for Philo, who barely had any memory of his parents or living with a clan, before being found by Xiang along the pink sand beaches of the Starfall Isles.

All the young coatl would be able to recall if asked about his early life is the salty smell of the ocean spray and the sound of the waves crashing against the shore. As if to reflect these memories, fin-like appendages began to grow on the young coatl as he grew older-- much to the bewilderment of the other clan members as none of them, even Xiang in all of his travels, had ever seen this happen before. Though, much to their collective relief, this has not caused him any problems so far.

Except, perhaps, his strange aptitude for augury using water, especially using salt water from the ocean.

As the youngest member of the clan, Philo acts very much like any other young dragonling would; full of vigour and childish innocence. Though he can act quite spoiled, predominantly due to Xiang’s doting, nevertheless Philo is a generally well-behaved youngling, except when dessert or playtime is involved.
