The Plaguebringer smiles on him, youngest son of Okeer and Morrigan who molds flesh like clay in his small hands and weaves together sinew and vine to mend a wound. His teeth are broken glass in a tight quick smile, with a tongue like a razor blade and a temper to match, and the slant of his shoulders and the tilt of his wings are sharp and fierce as the rest of him.

Desmodus looks more of a warrior than a healer, lean and angular and all pointed edges and old scars, and the smell of aloe and mint that hangs around him cannot quite hide the smell of dried blood and sun-baked sand. He is ambitious, no matter how hard he tries not to be- dreams of power and control always at the edges of his mind, always remembering how he was Prince, once.
