Studies the properties of flora and fauna. Determines edibility and usefulness as medicine.

About

Pieris is a quiet and reserved individual, and is a bit eccentric, but is otherwise a warm and kind individual. He spends most of his time, day or night, wrapped up in studying different plants, animals, and beastclan members as he can get his wings around. He is skilled at sketching but does so exclusively for science, and he enjoys taking extremely detailed notes on very mundane structures and functions as he discovers them.

His mate is Lycorea, and he revels in bouncing his thoughts off of her and sharing his discoveries with her, even if she does not always understand them. Pieris is bonded to a Wetland Unicorn named Shezza, whom he trapped one day to study and found himself unable to part with. He tends not to interact with the majority of the Clan's dragons, but he is not disliked; most of the Clan just gives him his space, knowing he would rather focus on his studies.

His most prized possession is the white bishop chess piece given to him by his original mentor, and his favorite food is Juneflower.

His former familiars include a Mimic Buttersnake.
