If you ever hear the leaves rustle in the trees when the wind is perfectly still; if you ever feel that you are being watched along the borders of our clan, well, its because you are. Our clan utilizes highly trained scouts to keep our borders safe, and when it comes to scouting, Echidna is one of the best.

Commonly one to go on solo missions, Echidna finds herself more of one watching over our clan than ever interacting as one of us. Under her careful, quick gaze, our borders have been kept safe, and shadier characters such as Wolfsbane and Carmillia have been kept in check.

When she does come out from the shadows of the tree lines, she never stays for long, and is always found accompanied by an irritable Winter Wolf, whom she refers to as Phose. A quick bite to eat, or a barter for a new blade, and Echidna and Phose disappear as quickly as they appeared. Her most commonly patrolled areas include the witches' shacks, the wolf dens and where the gathering fields meet the dark woods around our clearing.

Its not that we think her to be unkind, just antisocial. Afterall, she never sticks around long enough to bear any complaints, (our Founder, Thorinrod, is one of the few beasts to ever see her, and only when its time for her annual report), yet she does have a few hatchlings growing up in the clan nursery.

Seek out Echidna, if you can, to report any suspicious circumstances that should be examined further.
