Biography
The little girl looked at me through eyes that glowed with trust and love. She barely stood taller than my waist and had that wholesome, healthy glow that young girls are all supposed to have but so few actually do. With her little beret and matching jumper, she looked so much like an oversized doll that I wondered if she'd say 'Mama' if you turned her upside down, then right-side up again.
She was so adorable that it was obvious that anyone with a drop of paternal instinct would fall in love with her on sight.
"...She's Pidge's marker... you know, the one you said that you would cover personally?"
My stomach bottomed out.
"Geek, we were talking about a piece of paper. You know, 'IOU, etc'? A marker! Who leaves a little girl for a marker?'
"Pidge does. Always has. C'mon Skeeve. You know me. Would I give anyone credit for a piece of paper? I give Pidge credit for Markie here because I know he'll be back to reclaim her."
"... How old is she anyway?"
'I'm not really sure. She said she was in the third grade at Elementary School...even though she calls it Elemental School...so that would make her..."
I realized that Mashawas staring at me in wideeyed horror.
"Elemental School!?"
"That's what she called it. Cute, huh? Why, what does..."
My apprentice interrupted me by grabbing my arm so hard that it hurt. "Skeeve. We've got to get her back home...QUICK!!"

There was a sudden WOOSH followed bt the sounds of ripping canvas, wood splintering, and assorted screams and curses... the booth that Bunny was in was in tatters. The entire stock of the place was sailing off over the Bazaar, as was what was left of the tent... [and] The displays on either side of Bunny's tent and for two rows behind it were in a similar state.

"What happened?" I gasped, though whether to myself or to the gods, I wasn't sure.
Masha answered.
"What happened was Markie!" She said grimly. "She blew her cork and summoned up an air elemental...you know, like you learn to do at Elemental School? It appears that when the kid throws a tantrum, she's going to do it with magic!"
