Covenant Philosopher and Council Elder
Both Zodiark and Bjorn joined the Maelstrom Covenant the same time, were Scrolled the same time, and both ascended to Council Elder status the same time. One would think that the two are so in sync that they would be twins. This is not the case however, as both came from different Clans within the same Flight.
As a hatchling, he left his Clan for fear of his aptly named mother Tyranny, who was from the Plague Flight and proved to be very... ambitious. Not wanting to be used for some dark purpose, he fled with his faithful friend Bjorn and traveled through the perils of the Shifting Expanse where they came upon the Maelstrom Covenant. With the aid of Broodmaster Belias, he crafted a Scroll and transformed into a Skydancer, taking up the name Zodiark and threw himself into his studies.
Even now, he always has an eye on the Scarred Wasteland, utilizing whatever sources he has to keep his insidious mother at bay. Though now if that wasn't enough, his own stepson EmetSelch is in some dark business as well. Zodiark often feels like he just can't catch a break.
