Polpo

"But you said you loved me!" Polpo cried as her owner drove her up to the Auction House. "Yeah that was before when you were cute, now i can't even stand to look at you!" Polpo's head sunk. "But you said-" "NEVERTHELESS! YOU ARE USELESS, I DON'T SEE WHY ANYONE WOULD NEED USE FOR YOU." Polpo's owner snarled. Polpo's dreams of being someone who her master could be proud of were crushed.
~Few Hours Later~
Polpo sat and the small cage as she waited for her owner to come back. 'It's just a prank,' she thought,' Master will be here tomorrow.'
~6 days later~
One of the workers came and tapped on Polpo's cage. "I'm afraid we're gonna have to put you down to make room for other dragons coming in." The worker said. "Wait please don't I-" "I'm sorry its the rules, i gotta obey them or i'll get fired." The worker said solemnly. "Hang on, i would like to take it." A voice from behind said. "Lily?" Polpo asked when she saw the dragon. Lily was know for adopting strays to build her clan. "im sorry ma'am but time's up." The worker said. "Let me stop you right there, you see Polpo has been her for 6 days correct?" Lily asked. "Yes Ma'am" The worker replied. "So thats 6 days and by the looks of it she hasn't been eating nor has she been let out of the cage for exercise. I could sue you for that you know? Level 9 Dragon abuse. But i'll be willing to let this slide if you start feeding your dragons and letting them out for exercise. And of course you'll have to let Polpo go too." Lily declared. The worker stared wide-eyed at lily. "Did i stutter?" Lily asked. "No ma'am" The worker unlocked the cage and Polpo flew into Lily's arms/wings.
(I actually wrote this because she was 10x cuter when she was a child and i felt bad)
