Grimm is the traveller in the night that comes without warning. He passes by lairs as quietly and unobtrusively as though he was simply a light breeze passing by. So quietly in fact, you might have never known he was there at all, if it were not for the evidence of his recent presence.

Although he is always gone before the dawn breaks, the evidence of his passing in undeniable. For, where he has trodden, the grass has crumpled and died, and the flowers have wilted and shrivelled. Above, the leaves have fallen from the trees, browned and dry.

Cursed forever by a witch for a deed about which he never speaks, he is bound to walk alone for eternity, killing all he touches. He can never love, or know another's kindness. His scales are splattered permanently red to remind him of this deed he committed so long ago.

He has wandered alone for so long, that stories have emerged of him. They are the stories that dragons whisper to each other in the middle of the night. Stories that inspire terror in all that hear them. The sound of his steady footsteps are said to haunt the dreams of hatchlings in night. They have existed time out of mind. For so long, in fact, that they now have become mostly legend.

Because of these stories, he has earned many names throughout his years. In some places he is known as the lone wanderer, and in other places they whisper that he is called the Grim Reaper. Recently though, he has become known by another and far more sinister name. Simply; Death.
