Once upon a time, Neofelis was a very cruel, vindictive and unkind Fae, raised by Illyrius to be the drake's personal eyes on the entire clan. He didn't really have anyone to talk to, or to socialize with, growing up as a very stuck-up dragon that believed anything he desired, he deserved. Only after interacting with several dragons from another clan did he begin to figure out how to act properly, the two most influential being a Skydancer named Tesaira and a Ridgeback named Kateriya, both from the Silk Woods Clan. From them, he learned that it was possible for another dragon to care for him other than his 'father', and that he could care for other dragons as well. After a conflict between his two biggest influences, his father and Kateriya, he fled the clan, not to be seen again for some time. He's come back though, and a lot of dragons have trouble believing that this is the same Neofelis as the one they once knew. |

Neofelis returned to the clan after his time away equipped with a new sense of purpose, his mate Amazonia, and an unnatural strength. Away from his clan, he had a chance to really grow as a dragon, and he has an unshakable drive to improve his clan, and ultimately show his father Illyrius that his paranoia and overbearing need for control is unnecessary. Though he was verbally and sometimes physically abused as a young dragon, he still finds it his main goal not to get revenge, but to help those who hurt him realize why such a thing was wrong. |
