The Nature Ambassador
Representative for Nature interests, needs, beliefs and individuals within the clan.

Nature: The Natural, Living World
Viridios sits on the Elemental Council as the chosen Ambassador for the Nature Flight within Clan Avarice. As well as being the foremost expert on Nature lore, beliefs, needs, and morals, Viridios represents the interests of all Nature-oriented dragons within the clan. The Elemental Council are 5th tier dragons in the hierarchy, although as Ambassadors and experts in their specific elements they command more respect than the average fifth tier dragon. The Elemental Council is advised by an Elemental Leader, who themselves sit under the guidance and control of The Diplomat, Azrael.

Vibrantly coloured Viridios has always had a connection with Nature, and was the obvious choice for Nature Ambassador when he came across the Avarice clan. He does not represent the kinder side of nature, however; he represents its vibrancy, the crush of uncontrolled growth, wild and the wilderness, and its harshness.

Viridios is an enigma to the other dragons of the clan. At first glance, his bright colouring and cheerful druid's garb suggest a playful, outgoing dragon. But, although he is confident and no shrinking violet, Viridios is a surprisingly violent dragon, quick to anger, quick to lash out. He is impatient and free with his claws and teeth, though not without provocation, and most of the other dragons in the clan are wary of angering him. His knowledge of the wilder side of Nature is unparalleled, though, and no other would be as useful as Ambassador.

Viridios took a mate not long after his entry into the clan, a Light dragon with a hide of gold known as Phoenix. She never found a place in the clan, however, and when Chaos could not find a use for her beyond mating her Nature Ambassador, she had the young dragon ritually sacrificed like so many others before her. As compensation, when Chaos and Azrael arranged the breeding and training of an Earth Ambassador named Medusa - a council position long left unfilled - she was gifted to Viridios as his new mate. Fiercely possessive, he demands her complete submission and protects her from others jealously, as he once did Phoenix. She even looks a little like Phoenix did, and Viridios does not particularly miss his old mate, given this new one in her place is equally elegant and attractive. He is not a sentimental dragon, nor a particularly caring or gentle mate, but Medusa was never intended to be his equal anyway.
