Even from a young age, Lotus took to the art of shifting well. Most of her hatchlinghood was spent as a maren gup, sneaking into clutches of true maren children. While she was talented, none of them mistook her for anything but a dragon, but since the pod had no quarrel with her clan they simply let her play pretend.

She latched on strongest to the warrior women of the pod, mostly the currentfinders and spearmaidens, and the feminine fighters doted on Lotus. She hopes to be as strong as them, and dreams of tackling down beasts of the deep.

Recently, however, she has taken to the art of magic. She learns from the warlocks, though they only give her very simple lessons for fear of spreading their maren magic into the world of dragons. One warlock in particular is keeping an eye on her, though what plans he has for the ambitious young guardian remains to be seen...

Currently, Lotus has no charge. Rather than taking on the Search herself, she is trusting that her charge will come to her when it is time, and is focusing her energy on finding who she is first.
