Tesla had always been interested in the Sciences and learning new things. His parents warned him that his elemental heritage may hinder him in his dream. But Tesla would not be detoured. He traveled all over the land to study everything that he could. From the Starfall Isles to the Shifting Expanse, Tesla learned all that he could.

When Tesla returned home, he came back as a super-genius. While abroad, he had became a major in everything from Magical Reactor Construction to Quantum Physics. However, because of being from the Shadow Flight, every new theory and facts to support them that Tesla came up with, was shut down almost immediately by the rest of the scientific community. To make matters worse, Tesla had a stutter. If being from the Shadow Flight was bad, being unable to talk properly made him even less credible. His stutter worsened with anger, causing a perpetual cycle when in a heated debate.

The times when Tesla isn't trying to defend his findings from attacks, he spends his time demonstrating his more unique and odd inventions to the circus audience. His section of the show functions like a more entertaining and interactive science exposition.
