Morfran

History: Being a Shadow dragon, Morfran's history is rather vague, and a touch shady (pun intended). From how he tells it, he was born into a now extinct clan, with his brothers and sisters inheriting the same gift as him: the ability to awaken the dead. Unlike his siblings, however, he abandoned his clan, finding more solace in honing his abilities rather than making house with the other dragons. For now he's settled in with Vaermina and her clan, which, for the most part, has welcomed his unusual talents, since most within the clan are hatchlings of the Arcane Flight and relish the opportunity to study the highly taboo and forbidden craft of necromancy. However, not all in the clan are as enthusiastic, some even plotting ways of ending Morfran's life. Though he has been promised protection many times, Morfran clings to the only shield he knows that will truly keep him safe: solitude. It is strange, however - being part of a clan yet living apart from it. He had never been keen on middle grounds, and yet somehow he still managed to make this existence work. For now. In time he will leave eventually. Being who he is, it's inevitable. For now, though, the middle ground is hospitable enough. And perhaps - perhaps - he's beginning to accept this clan as a new home, even a second family.

Crush: None outside of his studies, although he is rather fond of Ebony.

Kin: All lost, only some forgotten.

Extra: He hates spirits, and is even petrified by them. He dislikes how they stick around and ask him for help. This reaction puzzles most who've seen him interact with ghosts, but his argument is always: "If I wanted to be a medium, I'd actually give a damn about money. No wonder the cost for an exorcist is so high."
