Kyocho

Kyōchō's name literally translates to 'ill omen'. They are named this because of their colorless plumage and piercing red eyes that seem to stare right through a dragon. As soon as they hatched, they were tossed out of their nest as to avoid the ill will they'd surely bring because of their lack of color.

Scared, confused, and hungry, they wandered for several days before that collapsed at the edge of the shadow territory. Hungry, sick, and barely having onto life. The dragon to find this small coatl was Myuto. Immediantly, the mute dragon's heart reached out to the colorless coatl. Usually, they'd run from another dragon, but instead they cautiously brought food and water to the weak and starving Kyōchō.

As soon as they were well enough, they thanked the mute coatl in a soft, gentle voice, with a grateful smile. Myuto nodded and offered a timid smile in return before pointing them towards the clan that they knew to take in all sorts of dragons.

And so, Kyōchō made their way slowly to said clan. Once they arrived, they were quickly welcomed by a graceful blue skydancer, who was adorned with silks and other trinkets. She beckoned the coatl to follow her, and lead them to an open nest where they could sleep. Her, and several others muttering kind welcomes to the newcomer. Of course, they were grateful, but they worry still about the delecate coatl that nursed them back to health out there in the brambles.
