We hope that when our loved ones grow old, there will be someone there to care for them and love them. However, the universe often has other plans. Roaming through his old home, everything has changed and he doesn't know why. The dementia and poisons sometimes lead him to believe that his family is still with him. . . let us hope he never recovers. As awful as that is to say, it is best that he remains unaware of the reality that has become.

S T O R Y

He is an old man and the swampland he's lived in his whole life is being redeveloped by the neighboring Mirrorlight Promenade. As the much larger dragons cut down the trees, vaccuum out the swamp water, fumigate the plants, and "relocate" the current residents. Relocation is a grossly false term that is being used by the Lightweaver. Bumi narrowly avoided death, but became poisoned combined with losing sanity from old age. He is trying to protect his family... his family that was killed months ago. He was always in charge of his family, so he is still trying his best. He tell his daughter she will be okay, they will make it through together. Bumi wonders why the red mushroom does not respond nor return his hugs. He tells his wife that he doesnt think he can pull through much longer. She no longer responds to him with more than some chirps, for it was a sparrow to which he was communicating.
