The Artistic Egomaniac

Actor, director, writer and self-proclaimed master of the arts, Hyron is one of the clan's most famous of dragons and an aspiring world-wide sensation. Early into his time with the clan, the highly extroverted coatl requested room be made in the lair for a grand stage and with some persistence, a stage he received. Now much of his time is funnelled into producing plays to entertain all who come to behold his latest work of art.

Having long since converted his personal dwellings into a studio, Hyron can often be found privately brainstorming or practising, when he is not preening or socialising with other dragons. A ridiculous perfectionist and intensely focused once he gets started, he frequently loses track of time and winds up keeping the oddest sleep schedule, as well as forgetting meals.

When not involved in performing, directing or producing artistic endeavours, Hyron is also known for throwing large parties on special occasions, inviting as many dragons as he knows of to attend. If someone should be missed, he typically becomes quite stressed; forgetting a guest might as well be a sin!

Though personable, Hyron is very vain and thinks very highly of his own talents, as well as his appearance. The words "gorgeous", "handsome" and "brilliant" have never quite been used so frequently in reference to a dragon's own self. Despite his terrible sleep cycles, he somehow always manages to keep himself looking in top condition, perhaps blessed by good genetics or privy to sheer aesthetical wizardry.

On the surface, much of his show-boating self-aggrandising give an initial impression of a very self-centered and self-absorbed dragon. In truth, much of what Hyron does is for the enjoyment of others and he loves making others happy, usually never forgetting hatchdays, always bringing gifts, always returning debts (though absolutely atrocious at doing so with any degree of promptness) and doing his best to uplift the clan's spirits in trying times. Believing entertainment is a fantastic form of therapy, he devoted himself to this passion of his in the hopes of soothing souls the world around.

Maybe, one day, Hyron will become the global star he dreams of being. Should that day arrive, starstruck dragons should be aware that Hyron will likely never find fanmail left in his room amongst all the clutter.
