Biography
Faramond Scarecrow People whose wishes get granted often don't turn out to be very nice people. |
Role
In the middle of one of the Manor's many grassy clearings, a scarecrow stands unmoving. Many hatchlings play around it, climbing onto its bony wings and pulling straw haphazardly out of its body. It's a very well-decorated scarecrow, some of them have noticed. Perhaps the bow and arrow is to evoke some god of the hunt, they speculate. Perhaps the shiny jewellery is to attract magpies that can mob the crows. Most of the Manor's hatchlings grow up and move on without questioning any further, and that is that. Personality Farah is weirdly normal, considering everything. After his abilities to walk and talk were restored (through months of research by the clan's Arcane dragons), Farah became nigh indistinguishable from a flesh and blood dragon. He's rather more emotional than one would expect from a Plague dragon, and gets drawn into passion projects very easily. Currently he's helping Thessaly advocate for destigmatizing Plague dragons in government roles - not every Plague dragon enjoys rampant anarchy, thank you very much. |
Your head is humming and it won't go, in case you don't know,
The piper's calling you to join him |
And it's whispered that soon if we all call the tune
Then the piper will lead us to reason |
Background Once upon a time, a young Wildclaw made three wishes. One, to be immune to illness. Two, to never have to sleep. And three, to never feel hungry. At the time, this made sense - living in the Scarred Wasteland without a clan is no easy feat, and surviving the night was something to be thankful for. Unfortunately, whatever saw fit to grant these wishes was clearly having a bad day - Farah was turned into a living scarecrow. Well, at least he doesn't have to slay a monster, or go on an arduous quest, or sleep for a hundred years. As fairytales go, Farah's isn't bad at all. Relationships There are a multitude of pruning jokes one can make regarding the relationship between Farah and Eglantine, but let's not go there. Farah is extremely protective of his mate, and is commonly found patrolling her gardens glaring at birds and dragons alike. He is great friends with Tuberose, for obvious reasons. Like her, he is also not particularly popular with the clan's Imperials, but Sigrun does keep him busy in her forest during harvest season. |
