A studious dragon with a vested interest in alchemy, her name hardly suits her. She seems to have more patience for experiments than for other dragons. She tolerates Gwenith's company the most, as he's quick to follow her directions with little fuss; she can't deny the advantage of an assistant over three times her size and rippling with muscle.

The most visible mistake she's made was the result of leaving her lab unattended when searching for components in the surrounding forest; a hatchling nicknamed "Muffin" but Apricot managed to stretch his wings well enough to reach her den and slip through the open entrance. Mistaking one of her agar blocks for candy, he ate it and was subject to extreme physiological changes over the next few days, accompanied by extreme sickness as his stomach twisted and reformed to accommodate a different digestive process. He's stabilized by now, and Whimsical has since assured the clan the changes are merely cosmetic, and cannot be passed on genetically, as well as pledging to move her work to a less hatchling-accessible location, but the clan holds Muffin as living proof that her studies are suspect at best and highly dangerous at worst.

12/nov/16 - Whimsical's private side project has at last proven fruitful, transforming her into a bogsneak, with the unfortunate consequence of also promoting a fungal infection that she's working to stem. She's still quite small, though, and has not yet been forced to move her lab to a more accessible location. Her new form has a total of four cerebral fins in similar configuration to her fae form, but lacking the same motor capacity. As her monotonous accent has yet to disappear, this makes her even harder to read.

3/dec/16 - the infection has since cleared with no visible scarring and only phantom itches. She's still sometimes mistaken by visiting dragons for a rather squat fae at first glance.
