Full of tricks, riddles, and a flair for the dramatic, Peryite is quite possibly the last dragon you would want to ask for help. He is masterful at making others uncomfortable, and his eccentric personality has led others to believe he is mad and not to be trusted. With an inane inability to be straightforward, he often skirts around answering others' questions, even though, more often than not, he has the answer they're looking for. Treasure or gems tossed his way may encourage his tongue to loosen, but in the end, the most rewarding experience is playing mind games with his victims, and the extra gold is just a bonus.

Despite his manipulative techniques, there are few dragons within their territory he would dare not tangle with either out of respect or fear, primarily Fulgar and Revere, although he has no quarrel with tormenting Fulgar's daughters with his less-than-sinister games.
