Himawari

Personality: Himawari is calm and laid-back, and he tends to keep to himself. He rarely voices how he feels and prefers to have other dragons assert their own opinions before speaking up. The Skydancer can sometimes seem cold and distant, but he has a softer side that he readily reveals to dragons who take the time to get to know him. While he is not the type to shower others with hugs and kisses, Himawari can be a flirt at times and frequently compliments anyone who captures his interest, which is surprisingly easy to do.

Orientation: Grey-Heterosexual/Grey-Heteroromantic

Relationship Status: Single but has a very slight crush on Sorrel.

Kin: Tanglang (father), Aki (mother)

Familiar: Thelma and Louise the Greenroot Janustrap. Just clarifying, but Thelma is the familiar's right head, and Louise is the familiar's left head; Himawari regards both heads as separate individuals and makes sure other dragons refer to them that way. Unfortunately, that is pretty much the only way to distinguish between the two heads, apart from subtle cues that only Himawari knows. Thelma and Louise are both greedy for food and demanding, yet they are also quite affectionate, and both heads deeply enjoy cuddles.

Reputation: Himawari is a respected gatherer among his coworkers, and Bambolina trusts him with more difficult routes and rarer items. He is quite humble about it, however, and tends to bashfully ignore any compliments directed towards him about it. The Skydancer is friends with Danton, although the two maintain a relatively distant relationship. And although he refuses to admit it outright, Himawari has a very subtle crush on Sorrel and tends to compliment her more often than usual. This is difficult to see, however, since Himawari is naturally a friendly dragon, and he is an expert at hiding his romantic feelings from others.

Backstory: Himawari was born into a Nature Flight and spent most of his life there, frolicking with the flora and fauna there and learning about the lore associated with that flight. He was quite attached to his flight's element and was horrified when he was told that he had to pack up his belongings and move to a Clan in the middle of the Scarred Wasteland. Dreading the worst, Himawari believed that he would quickly succumb to the Wasteland's various contagions and brought very little to the Clan. When he first arrived, Himawari was very wary of his new Clanmates and often spent time by himself in his lair; he would also try to shrug off any contemptuous glares that Plague-affiliated dragons would sometimes give him as he passed by. As time passed and he learned that he was not going to die, Himawari decided to bring along his remaining belongings from his previous Clan, and he soon got used to his new home. However, Himawari had to pack up again almost right after that; the Clan was suffering from issues regarding lair space and had to evict two dragons in order to make room for new hatchlings. Those dragons turned out to be Himawari and Danton, a dragon whom the Skydancer had previously spoken with but never interacted with much. Himawari and Danton went to the Infier Clan, which resided in the Scarred Wasteland at the time, and befriended each other as they stayed in a secluded area, but the two males retained some distance between each other. Once they were able to come back to the Sorexians, Danton and Himawari went their separate ways, although they still managed to keep good feelings between each other. During this time, Himawari started to grow closer to a Fae named Sorrel, and his feelings for her quickly blossomed beyond friendship. The Skydancer, despite being well-aware of his feelings, acts if they are nonexistent, although it is possible to see him get slightly flustered if Sorrel is mentioned.
