Mirabilis

Mirabilis had a rough start in life. When he had not yet hatched an ice sprite had escaped from a neirboring clan and created a powerfull and deadly blizzard. His mother had rushed in to protect her nest, but she wasn't able to save them all. A rush of ice magic flooded his little body and froze his egg solid. The next morning the clan set to repair the damage, his father had taken the frozen egg out to their burial grounds, but as soon as he had set it down the egg it began shaking and to his father's complete shock Mirabilis was born, completely healthy.

Mirabilis, thus named for his near miraculous birth, was always a bit different from the rest of his siblings. He did not do well in the heat and preferred to play in the shadows where it was cooler. His relationship with his parents wasn't the best, his mother's guilt over what happened to him prevented from growing closer, and any attempts to get closer to his father failed spectacularly. He always felt that he didn't fit in the peacefull wind clan.

So he began wandering.

He just started walking one day and never truly stopped. At first he headepd eastwards, but the rising heat as he neared the Ashfall Waste soon proved unbearable and he turned back.
