3592.png 		Shyamal is one of the few thieves who prefers working alone; none of the others have been stealing for as long as him, and they lack his experience. Of course, he's more than willing to share what he knows and suggest ways to approach their contracts, but being part of a team has never appealed to him. He's far from a solitary figure, though, usually hanging around in the lair's common area outside of contracts, and inviting the others to games and riddles and anything else which requires skill and a quick mind. He possesses an extraordinary ability to think on his feet, which comes in handy when he is out thieving--not to mention the wonders it does for his winning streak.

Word has it his lover is an assassin, a rumour he's starting to grow weary of. Yes, he had a nest with one in his former clan many, many years ago, but there were no feelings between them then and there aren't any now. It was done on his former clan leader's orders, and the other thieves can look forward to similar fates, should the clan need more dragons to serve the gods or spy on other clans. Yes, he's also the unfortunate father of the embarrassment that is Shikha, and no, he has no idea what he did wrong for his son to turn out like that. At least his grandchildren are respectable dragons and can safely be acknowledged.
