Familiars are gentle towards their masters, but they do not begin that way. That's Casey's job. As caretaker and tamer of his clans familiars, Casey is a strong willed but gentle dragon. He is patient, and knows just how to calm any rowdy, feral beast that he might come across. That does not mean his reflexes do not fail him from time to time. Casey is as hardy as he is hard working, and bears the scars of his work with pride. He does look down upon them, they are reminders of the severity of failure in his work. They're also very good stories to tell later.

Casey is no average dragon looks wise, and he knows it. He does not flaunt his beauty as some, but he has become accustomed to dragons of all kinds cooing and swooning when he walks by. One such dragon, Sweettooth, of a distant clan, as become such an admirer. Casey is on friendly terms with him, but is reluctant to begin any sort of partnership, as the charming imperial desires. Casey is not one for casual flings, as sad as that makes other dragons. He is content with his mate, and has little desire to find other romantic relationships.
