Pariah
Blood Mage

Even by The Sheep Clan's questionable moralities, Pariah's practices are frowned upon on. Who knew you could become an outcast among outcasts?

Pariah is a user of blood magics, and has become quite adept at the dark art of it. Their arms bare the remnants of their art, and Azun shudders at the sight of the vile, rust stained bandages they have to cover the wounds. It's a marvel they have not yet died of infection. She has tried many a time to offer them healing, but Pariah prides their scars and wounds, and becomes violent towards those who attempt to aid their healing. Healers have even been lost to their blind rage, their corpses dragged off to the stinking, dirty lair they call home. It is a cave at the edge of the forest isle, dug into the cliff side. It's a wonder how they get into it, without the ability to fly, wings too small to support their mass.

Some rumors even accuse Pariah off worshiping the Shade, sacrificing themself and any who they can find to that dark power. It is wise to avoid their cave, and none have ever fully seen the inside of that musty, damp system of corridors and narrow tunnels. Narrow even for the Ridgeback themself, whose small wings seemed almost built just for them to have an easier time squeezing into tight spots.

Huntress likely would have kicked them out ages ago had they not a large heap of gold behind their name. Where they get their money is a mystery, but it appears and Huntress, though reluctant, takes any that she is offered. Sometimes it too has a sheen of red to paint its surface, another soul that bears the aftermath of Pariah's work. Huntress chooses not to question it, and keeps Rusty close by her when she comes to collect their tax.

Pariah is well feared and hated by the clan, but he has somehow earned Aveugle's affection. Perhaps it is the fact they are both outcasts with magic no other dragon really understands. Perhaps Pariah has bewitched the gentle Ridgeback; speculations vary from tent to tent. Still, the gentleness of which they care for the blind Mender is uncharacteristic of them, but no less sweet.
