PLAGUE-BORN LEADER
Vespertilia

STRONG | CLEVER | LAZY
plagueh3.png
A large, beastly dragon, Vespertilia eats her weight in food daily. As the leader of the clan she spends most of her time in camp directing the others. She does very little work herself, preferring to decorate the camp with bones and charms, and other things she thinks look nice.

History
_______________

In sickness and in health...

______________________________
An egg. A lone egg. Such a strange idea. Eggs cannot naturally be on their own, for they should be, by their very nature, accompanied by at least two other beings, and occasionally even other eggs. Nonetheless, this egg was alone. Perhaps kicked out of a nest, or left behind after some unforeseen calamity? Whatever the cause, a large egg, clearly Plague aligned, was left alone its native landscape: harsh, inhospitable plaguelands. However, by some godly amount of luck, the orphaned egg was near enough to the Shadow Flight lands to be noticed by a wandering Nocturne.
For a number of years the young Guardian that hatched from the egg lived among her adoptive clan, the Nocturne that found her serving as her mother. Living as a Shadow dragon and raised in a primarily Nocturne clan had a number of effects on the young dragon. She developed a love of riddles and puzzles like her Shadow-born clanmates that remained forever with her, as well as a moderate proficiency in Nocturnal sound mimicry, which she mostly uses to encourage birds to sing and to befuddle hatchlings.
She eventually came of age to seek her charge, and so bade her Shadow family and her life as she knew it goodbye. Her Plague heritage spurred her towards the dire landscape that bore her and she headed back into the Scarred Wasteland
