Like the fiercest lightning in a storm, the Grand Matriarch's debut was as sudden as it was bombastic - and just as violent. She came into attention and became a local legend when she slaughtered a particularly brave (and foolish) beastclan nomadic caravan that wandered too deeply into Lightning territory.

She later spent the next two months clearing both the Highlands and the Canyons of any intruding hostile beastclans before finally settling in the Highlands for a while, gathering many wayward dragons and eventually moving down into the canyons itself and made her nest.

Being a Lightning dragon, she has an aptitude to engineering and applied it into terrifying degrees in her lair's construction - having it built into the side of the canyon with only one way in and out makes it is a highly advantageous and defensible position, while secret tunnels and hidden exits are spread around the lair in the event of a breach.
