Born in a nature clan, Sercie grew up learning to respect and admire the beauty of nature. Her main interest was always flowers, as they would always carry such interesting properties, scents and looks. From a young age she would write down information on every form of flora she came across, making sure to bring along certain types, and avoiding others. Though, her interest soon outgrew the Viridian Labyrinth, and she started traveling in the search for the ultimate herbs. Sercie would travel great distances and meet up with a lot of different clans before she arrived in the Arcane territories. No place she had ever seen had been filled with such a grand variation of flora. Traveling through the Starwood Strand, she came across a lovely mirror in search for some herbs supposedly being in the area. Helping the mirror out proved to be a fruitful task, and the mirror, whom had introduced himself as Ares the thaumaturge, showed her to his lair where he promised that she could stay for as far as she'd wish to. Days turning into weeks, they highly enjoyed each other's company, and the rest of the clan had seemingly accepted the snapper into their clan of mages and scientists. She was accepted into the clan as their new herbalist, with a feast and festives in her honor. The clan was surely small, but full of life. 
Will eventually figure out a revision to old lore (above) Time passed, and Sercie eventually would leave this clan and continue on to several others, staying with them to get a better understanding of their local flora and fauna. Along her travels, she briefly met a near-ancient druid by the name of Artio, who she looked up to even long after they parted ways on their own paths. So, when a message found her from a distant land from Artio, Sercie was estatic. The news it would carry would be worrying, but she quickly dropped everything to see what was going on. In the midst of a terrible war, the Mirror clan Artio was staying with had begun putting out a call for those with experience in the natural magics. Something unnatural had taken root in the soil beneath their feet, and had to be eradicated. For as powerful as Artio was, even she could not do it alone, and had set about gathering other druids and nature-folk she had met in her travels. As quick as she could, she made her way to the Shifting Expanse and met up with Artio in The Tempest Order. She could sense immediately what Artio had warned her of -- not just in the ground but in the plant life in the area. Something was wrong, and it was up to her and the others to protect the clan from it. |
