AquaMarina
Head of Merchant & Trade Guild

AquaMarina was born in the renowned Beacon of the Radiant Eye with a taste of gold on her tongue and heady desire for the good-life. She dived into the aspect of trading, seeing it as quick and most desirous way to her goal. She was (and still is) ruthless in her bargaining and studied hard to learn the tricks and skills of the trade. Her favored business was that of cloth and fashion, how swiftly a trend could become the next big thing in the Sunbeam Ruins. In was in this profession she became good friends with the clothing designer, RibbonEel, and together the pair worked their way to being the toast of the Flight.

So AquaMarina had it all, luxury, wealth, and fame claw over fist….but then she grew to be bored. Fashion changed swiftly and the glitter of the high life was exciting at first, but she felt the tedium in never-ending parties and gossip around her. So she began to dabble in a variety of things- mostly dangerous- from poisonous fish to hang gliding around the sharp cliffs to mystical and occasionally fraudulent spiritual arts. But the last straw that broke the melprin’s back was that of changing her form into that of a Bogsneak. A fashion faux pas like no other, many of her fair-weather friends and business partners left her speedily and her wealth began to dwindle.

Her anger roiled but cooled when RibbonEel, one of her true friends, told her of a Water clan that made marvelous golden silk from the threads of mussels. It was a market ripe for the taking and she would leave for a new life by the inland sea. She gathered her servants and few friends and began the trip across the Sunbeam Ruins and Shifting Expanse. It was there she found the starving and disturbingly feral FrigidTrail. But he had something in him, a life force so much more grand and vibrant than those of her former false compatriots. She set to taming and teaching him the eloquence of true dragon life- and he proved to be the true source of light and adventure she needed in her life.

Together they set up life and shop in Fallen Star Fort, and she has become the Head of the Merchant and Trade Guild of the Clan of the Lionfish. She is domineering and ruthless in her trading, and heartily wishes to assure the clan’s well being and wealth. She works with TigerShark long-distance on accounting and trade deals, and argues over every copper cent of a transaction. Yet she is ever poised and elegant, and does not stint herself the luxury of her status.
