Darling is the oldest dragon in this clan and is said to well outlive all others. Born from the crystalline caves below the reed covered cliffs, her breath warms the soil of the nesting grounds. With fostering a safe environment for hatchlings comes the duty of fighting off predators. Her actions have obtained the respect of the clan members as she has very well earned the title of Grand Matriarch.

In the beginning, as the clan began to grow, Darling stepped away from being a leader to become a full time guardian of the nursery. When the clan established a council to govern their ever growing numbers, She was the first in dragon’s minds to become a member. She, however, denied the position and remains to this day in the nesting grounds. Darling is still highly respected and treated as if on the council - wether she wants it or not.

Clan members seek her blessings in many things, from approval of relationships to her opinion on political endeavors. Darling is often seen as a mother figure to the dragons and often leads young members to discover their jobs within the clan.
