______ An assassin? In Ladon's clan? Well, it's more likely than you think. Sometimes, even the friendliest of clans have to get rid of certain enemies who won't leave them alone. And that's one of Aveline's jobs. No one knows she is still taking commissions from other dragons, though. That's how she came to murder Nephtys' brother in the plague territory. She doesn't have any restraints, when it comes to murder. As long as the price is right, she will just do it - without even asking any questions.

______ Of course she didn't know Nephtys would join their clan after the deed was done. That complicated things quite a bit. She had to act as if she didn't know Nephtys - which wasn't a huge deal, she's a professional after all. But she had loyalty issues now. Nephtys paid well and her idea of a new kingdom in the plague territory seemed appealing to Aveline. Ladon on the other hand had provided her with nothing but kindheartedness and openness. In the end, she decided to stand at Nephtys' side. After all, the clan wouldn't like the fact, that she murdered Nephtys' brother for some amount of money. And this would surely be revealed if she stood against Nephtys.
