Fain

Fain is a flirtatious, beautiful dragon who is quite funny. He is flirty with any and all dragons, crooning and posing and the lot of it. He has a dry, sometimes dark sense of humor and often mixes this with his flirty nature to the vast amusement of the older, more intelligent dragons, who appreciate his humor. He also if fully aware of how beautiful he is, a fact which he uses to his full advantage, unlike his father (Rirasul), who finds it perplexing and amusing.

Despite this exterior (and interior, for the most part), Fain has suffered from the same deep sadness as Celara, and he occasionally goes to her or his brother, Khyris, when the load becomes too much to bear on his own. Celara has become like an aunt to him. He is very close to Khyris, as well.

Fain is also an alchemist, a fact of which he is slightly embarrassed because it goes against his exterior persona. While it is more difficult for him than it is for the other three in the friend group (Melenia, Cesne, Khyris), he has a deep passion for it.

He made his own familiar, with help, and is incredibly devoted to the little shiny lump of Cheerful Residue. His familiar is one of the things that can cheer him up when he is in a dark mood because he loves her very deeply and doesn't want her to see him sad. She loves him back, and cares for him as well as she can without arms, sending him to Celara if she can't provide enough support.
