Gem

Though Fade claims that Gem was born from their clan, Gem refuses this fact constantly, calling Fade a lying hag on many occasions. Gem swears on her soul that she is not from this dimension and has no idea how she ended up in this world, or in this clan. She usually stays either near the adopted clan members or wanders around outside the lair, avoiding Fade.
No one, including Gem remember her youth, even her so called "parents" don't remember ever seeing her as a hatching. Fade covers this up, saying that she just kept Gem away in a separate room due to sickness most of her youth. Once again, Gem believes this is a full on lie.
Her memory is incredibly sketchy, she can only remember the past few years of being in the clan. She's suspicious that Fade is in the same boat as her, but just happens to know more about their past.
Sometimes Gem will feel as though she remembers certain members of the clan, but in a different life. No, maybe a different time.
