Nervous, passive, brilliant

Nideth was always fond of tinkering with machines and wires at his birthplace in the Shifting Expanse. He hoped to learn more when he grew up and left his original clan. The Empyreal, with their huge gathering of scientists, looked like a natural fit for him.

Unfortunately, he discovered that the Empyreal are resistant to the idea of using electric devices. The sprawling cables and wiring common to the Shifting Expanse go against all of their aesthetic sensibilities. Because of this bias, the most advanced of his works are hidden in workstations and laboratories.

The electronics visible to the public are all lighting fixtures. Because of his small size and slender body, Nideth can create small and compact devices. His lighting fixtures hide as much of the wiring and underlying mechanics as possible, just leaving a beautiful glowing exterior. He finds many of the components to make them on salvaging expeditions with Mariel.
