Lethe, disturbingly, is the clans foremost expert on dragon biology. She won't gently nurse you back to health. No, no, no. She will however tell you absolutely everything she knows about your illness or injury. In graphic detail. What stage it's in, what it will do next, what could progress it further or halt it, etc. If you successfully use that information to survive she'll be thrilled. She's gotten so good at identifying trends in outbreaks that sometimes days before dragons start showing symptoms she'll fly up an announce things like "You're going to have boils in two days! May I please have a sample?" Like some kind of pestilence oracle. Keres was caught actually chuckling once, wondering how she's the scary one between the two of them.

Much to everyone's gratitude she keeps her work station impeccable. Not a petri dish out of temp. Every notebook indexed for quick reference. And a constant stream of gloves incinerated. As much as she'd like to see her work spread and study further, this is not her domain. It's only right to respect that after all the support she's received here. Hell had it not been for Hekate she might never have learned resuscitation. An amazing feat for the organs to actually shut down and still see a dragon survive. It's one of the reasons she doesn't mind filling the role of doctor on occasion. Just another way to thrive, albeit very different from how things are done back home.
It's no question how she got to be where she is now. Sure she is a Plague dragon through and through. Dedicated to learning everything she can about sickness. She even began by using herself as a test subject at an early age. It was difficult back then. She had a shoddy memory so she had to be sure to write down all of her findings. And her results were skewed by her heightened sense of smell compared to her colleagues. Most disastrously was when she'd been working on a strain that caused a high fever. She had to shave all of her fur that time. A bald tundra. That was when Keres demanded she change her approach. It took a lot of thought about what could be done. Arguing with herself back and fourth. She poured over her notes. Her notes. Books. They would go to the Arcane region for more information.

Lethe did not want to leave at first. It was the most they had ever argued. Neither were particularly chatty but her nomadic mirror partner was just not understanding her reluctance to leave her birthplace. She was a survivor damn it. A plague dragon. A Tundra. She was- having a moment of clarity. There was only one variable she fought against the most, giving her all kinds of trouble. Her body. She could adapt. This was physiology. Oh and the comparisons she could make afterward. This was her greatest breakthrough yet. This was perfect. She wasn't too picky about what breed she'd become. She could repeat the process as needed and run all of her experiments through again each time. She'd have a first hand account for all of her illness's. She wouldn't be fighting herself the whole time. She could focus on her studies. She could would did lose track of time. Totally on accident of course. In her defense it would be a massive hassle to pause everything and move all of her experiments now. Plus she loves how their little clan has expanded and wormed their way into Keres heart.
