Before the Beginning Before there was the clan, there was Torfri and Granmeyer. As one of the Displaced Ones, Torfri knew not where she came from or where she was born, only that the Arcane forces swim in her veins and is evident in her pink eyes. She was lucky enough to be found and taken in by some travelling Exalted Ones, and learned the ways of her breed and the matters of the land from them. As with many of her breed, when Torfri reached her age of maturity, her Search called for her to travel from her birthplace. So she bid goodbye to her caretakers and traveled far and wide. She had meant to stop only briefly at Crystalspine Reaches, as her stomach had started grumbling persistently mid-flight. Grumbling at her growing appetite, the sky-colored dragon headed towards a local trading grounds in hopes that she could buy a meal with some of the treasures that her adoptive caretakers gave her. Sighing at the amount of dragons surrounding the foodsellers, Torfri started looking around boredly and glimpsed an earnest looking Guardian not much older than her, judging by the little beard on his chin. Taking in the rugged traveller garments he wore, she realized he was probably also on his Search. Except, his Search ended the moment he sensed eyes upon himself and looked up from his grub to see her. Granmeyer found his Charge.

The Beginning of Adelie Sanaii [WIP. How a small family and a handful of travelers ended up starting a clan.]

The Quest [WIP. How a contemplation about self-derg ended up being justification for having way too many permies and projects. Brief outline below, but transparent because it's not full lore. Highlight to read.] Stormborne's Charge is a mysterious stone ruins, and Runestones and secrets it held. It took members of the clan a while to decipher the messages, and eventually they discovered that those secrets have to do with reviving a hatchling whose soul was broken into four pieces during its hatching and now exists in a wisp-like form without a body of their own (which is Torfri's Charge). The instructions called for them to gather dragons who represents different aspects into the clan, as well as four particular dragons whose souls carry the shattered soul pieces. When all of them are gathered, a ritual at the ruins will then let the hatchling to absorb the souls pieces back and with the help of the aspect dragons, form their body back to become a whole being once again. |
