Styx was born of the Underworld. Her mother, Krennathel, realized her dragonet was a danger and would never fit in. And so she abandoned her hatchling at the border of the Scarred Wasteland and the Tangled Wood. Here, pestilence thrives and danger lurks in the shadows. Krennathel was certain the hatchling wouldn't survive and left, fleeing back to her Clan.

Styx however, would be found by a group of rogues known as the Athanatos Rogue Clan. They took her in as one of their own. The Mage, Mystic, felt a dark presence from this young Guardian. Mystic Sought out the dragonet’s Soul and found that she was born of death and darkness. Demons lurked under her scales, devils were in her blood. The Dark Angel had woven its way into her soul. And so Styx earned her name. She learned that she could fit in with this group of dragons that didn’t fit in anywhere else. There were even others like her. She grew and adopted their ways, eventually coming to wear a birdskull necklace.

The demons grow within her, but she has accepted them. They are she, and she they. Her glowing eyes and ghostly fangs haunt the Wasteland as she travels with the Clan. Her talons are stained with blood from countless victims; it could form a river of death, just like the river Styx. She lives for death and flourishes in the land of the Filthy One. Every time she kills, another name is etched onto her scales, and another spirit is turned devil.

A true dragon of the Underworld, she thrives in death and darkness.
