Upon checking on their eggs Lightbreath and Windmaiden discover something... odd with their eggs.
"... You are not one of our children small one..." Lightbreath picked the baby dragon up in his paws. He was distracted by his mate making a squeaking noise and he looked blankly at her. "Wind... what are you thinking...? This is an Arcane dragon. I don't even know how he got here." Windmaiden looked at her mate with begging eyes.
Lightbreath huffed and handed her the child. "Fine. Fine. We have three of our own it's just another mouth to feed." Windmaiden just giggled and nuzzled her mate. "Brighteyes. His name is Brighteyes."
And thus the little Pearlcatcher was adopted by the leaders on Nightwind Clan
After he had grown his betrothed Lunarbreeze hatched and even when she was young she already won him over with her truthful and can do personality. She felt bad he was betrothed to her since she is so plain Brighteyes honestly doesn't mind and thinks she is beautiful.
Lunarbreeze was the one to give him his jade necklace.

Lunarbreeze His mate. They were betrothed even before she was born but Brighteyes honestly has fallen in love with her. She is calm and loving and everything he needed in the world to keep him grounded
Lightbreath Adoptive father and mentor. Even though sometimes he has a hard time understanding Lightbreath the young Pearlcatcher looks up to and listens to the leader to a fault
Windmaiden Adoptive mother. He loves Windmaiden to death and easily calls her 'Mom.' She has a tendency to spoil him and her daughters and the kids love it
Smokeheart Best friend. They are around the same age and were both adopted by the first adults in the clan. Brighteyes and the courier love to explore and race
Lostsong Brighteyes likes to hang out with Lostsong when Smokeheart is out on jobs. Lostsong and Brighteyes likes to talk about random things while the Skydancer studies
