Fortuna

No one is sure what clan Fortuna belongs to, and she doesn't swear any allegiance. In fact, when asked about it, she simply doesn't respond. Some dragons who have been around longer claim she used to live in the Verdant Grotto until one day, she had a vision of a world in the sky. She told of a world shrouded by clouds, so that no dragon could see it from the outside. On the inside, the sky is a blend of sunset and sunrise during the day, and the nights are always lit with the light from the moon and stars. This world is so high up in the sky that the moon and stars are always visible, even during the day, and shooting stars are easily spotted. Stones shaped like crescents and half moons float in the air, immune to gravity.

So, following her vision, she took to the sky and flew so far upwards, she could no longer be seen from the grotto. After a long flight, she entered into the clouds, and found the world she had seen in her vision. Here she met with the dragons of the Pegasus Clan. The guardian wanted to challenge her in battle, but the ambassador could see she did not pose a threat. The ambassador asked where she came from, and Fortuna told them about the Verdant Grotto, a hole in the world below where a peaceful clan of dragons lived. The ambassador decided they would visit the grotto in order to establish peace between the clans and assure the clan that their Fortuna had made it to the place she had dreamed of, and that she was safe.

Fortuna now roosts atop a floating half-sphere surrounded by misty clouds in the Cumulus sphere. Being so close to the cosmos empowers her arcane abilities to interpret fate. Dragons from the grotto, escorted by members of the Pegasus clan so they don't become lost trying to find the shrouded Cumulus Sphere, come to visit her when they want answers about their future.
