Biography

Rose is as carefree as a guardian dragon is allowed to be. The search can be a very lonely and isolating thing, and so she was eternally grateful when her charge happened to be a Tundra as gentle and companionable a spirit as Elowyn. And as for Elowyn, well, it's hard to not feel safe when your mate is a lumbering behemoth. Rose sees most of the entire clan as her children, and that makes sense considering that most were raised by her as such. It all started when the two bondmates found Nyaala, an abandoned Mirror hatchling, and decided to raise her as their own. From there onwards, the "collecting" of orphans, urchins, and exiled youths never really stopped. So long as she has the food and the love to give, all who are lost and in need of a home are her babies. In return, most of them look to her as a mother figure of sorts, and at least respect her for giving them a home even if they do not love her as a mother.

She got her name from the sweet, red-pink winery flowers often in bloom in the Plateau. You might say her mother named her after them for their hardy resilience and ability to get back up when cut and thrive anywhere, but really, it's just because her mother thought they were pretty, and their pink buds were everywhere when she was born.
