What is this world I can live in? Why don't I just start as something bigger than myself? We live in a world that is surrounded by the stars that watch us everyday. We bathe under the sun everyday while large and small dragons do their every duty they were assigned to by the Deities. Why did I have to start here? In this small little floating shell that is in space? I hear the outside world and all that it has for me to come, but when will I be floating among the stars and sun and moon and the deities?

Luminous wakes up. She coughs up water and gasps for air. She gradually begins to stand up, but her wings are too heavy for her. She opens her eyes wide as she stares at the large purple crystalline spikes she washed up upon. She touches the warm crystal, but she feels it humming beneath her. She looks at herself. Her eyes glowed a soft pink, her skin felt new, a faint gold glow wraps around her body as she begins to stand again.

"Why? Why.. no no no.... this can't be happening..." Luminous says as she stares at herself in the crystalline glass.

She looks at herself in the crystals and opens her wings. She turns around and sees hundreds of crystals scattered around her in all directions. Some floated in the air, some bobbed in the water, others were different colors, but they were all crystals. Luminous looks up to see the sun watching her and smiling.

"Why did you have to leave me here! I don't want to be here! I want to be up in the stars! I don't want what you put me here for!" Luminous shouts towards the sun, which can't hear her in the slightest, and begins to cry.

"Are you okay?" A dragon flies over to Luminous swiftly. He lands not so gracefully on the crystals near her and gazes at her.

"What do you think?" Luminous says as she flaps her wings, trying to fly, but failing.

"I can tell from your condition that you are lost, need help, and wondering what is going on." He remarks as he brushes his one wing.

"How could you tell?" Luminous says as she glances over to the dragon.

"Because that's how I was when I washed up on the crystals not too far away from here a little while ago. I'm Corail by the way." Corail holds out his claws to shake her claws, but misses slightly when reaching over.

"Are you okay?" Luminous remarks as she reaches for his hand to help him.

"I'm blind in my right eye, I'm sorry if that disturbs you."

"That's the last thing that would disturb me. I'm Luminous. Pleasure to meet you." She says with a wink and laughs.
