Champagne is a quiet dragon, and communicates less with words and more so with gestures and eerie sounds. He is an ominous being to have around, but not malicious, just creepy. He seems kind enough despite his unusual disposition, but that does not keep him from keeping the worst of company.

Since Lux's hiring, he has been seen as more on edge and less willing to work. His sudden change in attitude has made many in The Assemblage nervous.

He works for The Assemblage as a dealer of "CORRUPT", a liquid hand grown and brewed by Gottfried, who quite happily takes a quarter of the profits from the sales. The glowing, violet substance aides focus and helps a dragon stay aware by enhancing the senses. A higher dose, however, has the opposite effect of calming the mind, numbing the senses, and aiding sleep. An overdose tends to muddle the affects, and can lead to confusion, panic, and oftentimes death. It's said to even bring about an awareness of ghosts or demons on some occasions, though those that get that far tend to go insane staring at a world they should not see.

Despite the dangers, it is quite popular among scholars and scientists, and Champagne is more than happy to sell it.
