Timbren
Old Soul
A solitary dragon, preferring silence over chatter. ”I’d rather not talk right now” Out of the four quadruplets that crash landed on Soteria after escaping the nest, Timbre is the eldest. He claims that it was not his fault that they got lost, but he had made no move to stop the other three when they ran off. Instead, he followed after them, saying that he had to watch over them since he was the ‘responsible one’. In truth, Timbren had been feeling the pulls of the island from the far distance in the Windswept Plateau. A couple whispers here and subtle hints here and he had his youngest brother and sister off in a tizzy. Crispin was easy to follow, being a bit of a nervous wreck at that age. The journey itself was quick, and Timbren suspected that the island had moved itself to just the right place for his siblings to come spiraling down, entangled and squabbling. The two siblings crash landed on a skydancer dragon with brilliant wings. After giving the four a good scolding, the skydancer introduced himself as Trisiin, resident druid. Timbren was unimpressed at best. Sure, he could tell the druid had at least some skills, yet he was distracted by something, and it certainly wasn’t the hatchlings before him. Despite this, Trisiin did a smashing job of capturing the three wrestling hatchlings (Crispin had joined in a few moments ago) by snatching them all up by their tails. Timbren made sure to stay a short distance away, his own tail curled smartly around his feet. With a jerk of his head, Trisiin commanded the fourth hatchling to follow and he carried the rest away to the densite. Upon arival, Timbren saw the clan had assembled, three females at the center, looking forward as if waiting for them. The four were a welcomed warmly, and accepted into the clan as every dragon who fount Soteria was. Three of them entered the service of Trisiin, and begun to train as Druids. Timbren however...well, he felt the island speaking to him. He wasn't quite sure what it was saying, but he knew he would have a job to do at some point, and the others would need him. Until that time, Timbren found himself around the tree dragons Nasrin and Silas. The couple liked to keep their words to themselves, much like he, and soon the whole island viewed them as his adoptive ‘parents’. Despite being apathetic about the situation at first, Timbren came to care for his new family, and stayed with them always. |
