Ifor had always burned, even for a fire dragon. There were embers under his skin and sparks in his eyes. He learned very early on there was a name for what he was, what he could do. It wasn't just any dragon that could call flames into existence with a little bit of focus - no, Ifor was a Fire Mage. He began traveling young - eager to hone his skills. However, he quickly found that many dragons thought he was something to be feared. Fire is a dangerous element, but that is not all it is. Ifor quickly set out to prove that, using his powers to create, charring patterns into wood, kneading molten glass into beautiful creations, lighting the way in darkness.

He hadn't meant to join an ice clan - but he couldn't help it when it seemed as though they were one of the first to truly appreciate his gifts. The Southern Icefields could be unforgivingly cold after all, and fire was a precious gift to them. Ifor certainly wasn't expecting to run into another dragon from the Ashfall Wastes - a Nocturne named Vilin. Ifor quickly allied himself with her, offering to supply fire for her furnaces with a smile. Fire that created. It was all he'd ever wished for. They stuck fast together in a soon to be legendary partnership. And for a while Ifor was content. Up to and until he fell head over heels in love with the most beautiful Spiral he'd ever met. Marros. Even Vilin noticed and teased him over it!

It was greatly fortunate indeed then that Marros returned those feelings with vigor, and the two have been together ever since. Ifor has always burned brightly - but he burns most beautifully when in the company of those that love him.
